## Summary

CTO and full-stack systems builder. I design and run real-time AI + crypto-market
intelligence platforms end to end — from a ~20-microservice event-driven backend
processing 5,000+ market events/second, through production LLM/RAG/agent systems,
to the multi-cluster Kubernetes platform they run on. TypeScript and Python across
the stack; equally at home writing a React trading UI, a streaming dataflow job,
or the Terraform that provisions the cluster underneath it. Seven years in
crypto/web3 before and during that — Solidity protocol engineering, DeFi
products, and blockchain forensics tooling.

## Experience

### Elfa AI — CTO
*Nov 2024 – present · Remote (Singapore HQ)*

Elfa AI is a real-time crypto social- and market-intelligence platform: an API,
an AI trading copilot, and agentic trade execution, backed by a strategic
investment from Chromia.

**Product & architecture**
- Architected and built the core platform as ~20 independently deployed
  microservices (TypeScript/Node + Python/FastAPI): social-signal ingestion from
  the X/Twitter filtered stream and Telegram, price aggregation, sentiment and
  mention analytics, conditional trade execution, and a metered public REST +
  WebSocket API with auto-generated OpenAPI docs.
- Built an AI crypto-intelligence chatbot on a RAG pipeline with MCP tool
  servers, personas, and trader tools, orchestrating multiple LLM providers
  (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek, Perplexity) behind a self-hosted gateway.
- Shipped agentic and conditional trading: an event-driven trigger engine
  ("trade on information"), trailing-stop/DCA automation, Pine Script strategy
  evaluation, and backtesting — executing on Hyperliquid, GMX, Polymarket, and
  Kalshi across EVM, Solana, Sui, and Bitcoin.
- Built the customer-facing trading app in React 19 / Next.js 15: TradingView
  charting, real-time Socket.io streams, a visual drag-and-drop strategy
  builder (React Flow), Privy embedded wallets, and an embeddable B2B partner
  widget.
- Designed the monetization layer: Stripe subscriptions, x402 pay-per-call API
  payments, and a credit metering/usage-audit system with multi-layer rate
  limiting.

**AI/ML infrastructure**
- Self-hosted embedding inference (HuggingFace TEI) with caching and circuit
  breakers; GLiNER NER for claim extraction, served from a RunPod GPU fleet
  behind Cloudflare tunnels; temporal knowledge-graph memory (Graphiti +
  FalkorDB); Qdrant vector search at scale with automated backfill/re-key
  pipelines.
- Built a VM-isolated code-execution sandbox for AI agents: a dedicated
  Kubernetes cluster hardened with Kata Containers, Kyverno admission policies,
  and default-deny network policies.

**Platform & data engineering**
- Run three Kubernetes clusters (staging / production / sandbox) on
  DigitalOcean via ArgoCD GitOps (app-of-apps, Kustomize overlays), provisioned
  with OpenTofu/Terraform across DigitalOcean and Cloudflare.
- Built a lakehouse analytics platform: Apache Iceberg on object storage with a
  Lakekeeper catalog, StarRocks OLAP federating Postgres and Iceberg, dbt
  transformations, and Redpanda (Kafka) + Bytewax streaming dataflows.
- Operate the full data tier: PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB, Redis, Elasticsearch,
  Qdrant, RabbitMQ — with automated backup/DR and cross-environment sync.
- Stood up self-hosted observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, Alloy,
  Faro RUM) with OpenTelemetry tracing across all services, and zero-trust
  internal access via Cloudflare WARP tunnels replacing bastion hosts.
- CI/CD: 40+ GitHub Actions pipelines (per-service deploys, migrations,
  AI-assisted PR review) on self-hosted runners (Hetzner + in-cluster ARC),
  wired to ArgoCD via repository-dispatch image promotion.

### Native — Smart Contract Engineer
*Feb 2024 – Nov 2024*

- Built and maintained Native's Solidity smart contracts for on-chain swap
  settlement.
- Developed the RFQ (request-for-quote) API that serves signed liquidity
  quotes to traders and integrators.

### DeZy — Full Stack Smart Contract Engineer
*Nov 2022 – Feb 2024 · Singapore*

- Led the Solidity effort and team; designed, implemented, and tested multiple
  DeFi products including DCA and Builder.
- Managed off-chain infrastructure: The Graph subgraphs, Dune Analytics, AWS.
- Contributed to frontend implementation and off-chain calculations while
  providing general product direction.
- Architected process improvements that cut development time by up to 70%.
